wow been watching this since i first got half life 2 when it came out.

Half life 1 source provided is a joke, i googled and found this.

Excited, although combat looked a bit funny. Hope it's not and is awesome :D

Of course I know 2009 is near, but I don't see a set date :/

I finished the original hl about 10 times I think.. the addons quite a few times too >_<

Of course it's meant to look old-school since it's a remake of HL1 with modern Source Engine graphics. :-P

No release date with trailers already out usually means up to half a year to completion. Since the holiday season is approaching I don't think the MOD will be released anywhere near January. Of course Q1 2009 would be an optimistic guess with Q2 being a realistic one and the worst-case scenario, judging by how many MODs fell into unforeseen trouble, is Q3 2009.

Does anyone know why they got rid of the 'high definition' pack that came with Blue Shift? I loved those rifles n stuff.

I too did Half Life so many times, atleast 10, i used to know which boxes to break open at the start to get ammo. lol. I mean all those boxes and i knew which ones had ammo in.

Looks wicked sick. I have fond memories of playing HL1 when I was a kid.
Could hardly play it though as it scared the shit out of me. But I sorted it out with the godmode cheat.
