EDIT: on reading this back, with all of howard's criticism and opinions, i dont think i ever just turned round and called him names; only just offered counter points and corrected him when he was wrong. I respect howard and people willing to give honest opinions that show a passion for personal preference. An insult is just a weak counter argument.

Slowly more reviews are trickling into aggregate sites with the general consensus seemingly, big surprise, the game being simply average.

As much as a i agreed with the gamespot guy, it was actually the first time i had heard of the company really, or checked out the site - im pretty sure though, like Edge, Gamespot are probably more into RTS and RPG/JRPG games.

I dont really care about reviews (no offence Lim) except yahtzee's, because, a) game reviews are subjective b) the abilities of the reviewer might not suit the game c) numerical scores just seem retarded, you are giving a subjective opinion a qualitative numerical value - i guess its just for people too lazy to read someone's thoughts (this is why reviews shouldn't have scores, so people actually read the review.)

PLUS both official Playstation and Xbox magazines gave it a 8 and a 9; and i've heard of xbox and playstation....

PC metacritic looks ok right now, plus thats the only game platform i care about, as the pc will always trump any console. plus avp on the pc has better textures, and rendering.

Lim when you were looking at gamespot, i WAS looking at porn as it seemed like a better waste of my time than reading a review of a subjective art form. And its not ignorance at all, as i said, i dont give a shit about reviews or reviewers, the only review i care about is the one i make, im not a child or some idiot that needs someone else to tell me what to buy and think then wrap it all up for me a put a big shiny gold star on it.
