Hello, I'm Sam from the Hampshire Heavies, a European TF2 community. We're planning some semi-competitive highlander (9v9) community matches in the coming weeks and we were wondering if you'd like to play us sometime?

The teams would be open to anyone who wants to join, and would be composed of players of all skill levels. The event would run for about an hour on a Saturday evening. There would be the opportunity to win items and hats, which I can expand upon if this gets the go-ahead. We have a server based in the UK we can use, with SourceTV and livestreaming. We can even get some guys to do commentary.

I was wondering if you guys were interested in doing this, and whether this would have the go-ahead from the admins here? Again, players of all skill levels on both sides will be more than welcome to play.

Last time when we did this we got our asses severly kicked :). But, I think we are open to any challenge anyway.

Sounds like a plan. We have 3 admins that organise our events so they would be the people to liaise with as BAM has already mentioned. ZombieStalin is more focused on highlander events.

Are people like me allowed to join in? or is it SpA only? also I've had lots of experience with 6v6s so I should do well on a 9v9!

Well, on the HH we let both regulars and official members play in events. Regulars being defined as people who play on our servers or visit our forums regularly.
