Now this is some real music. It takes some real skill to play this song and that's usually what I respect most about music.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are the best band ever and Daft Punk is great too.

The Necromancer (4970)

^^

This is only partially a joke since this song is indeed quite awesome. :-D

Have you seen the film "Walk the Line" with Joaquin Phoenix? Johnny Cash was the man. =)

It is indeed quite a good song. It kinda reminds me of Stephen King's shortstory: The man in the black suit. In that story a boy goes fishing and has an encounter with the devil. It's situated in some southern US state in the 1930's.

I've read that the guy that wrote this song protested agains the fact that it was implemented in the game (he didn't have the copyrights anymore) because in GH3 you usually lost the duel with the devil whereas in the song the devil loses. And (according to the complaintant) the game distorted the image the writer wanted to create so it had to be removed!

A bunch of bullcrap if you ask me.

Hehe, stop posting mile long posts with all your favorite songs. I spread them out keeps the thread more fun and more likely someone will bother listening!

Here is another one

Sorry that i'm using GH3 again, but the normal vid of em has worse quality sound

Tell me what you think! If you can play this on GH3 or on a real Guitar, you are a true guitar hero!

Ok, one at a time then:

Wintersun - Battle Against Time

Amazing song, the entire album is done by one guy (name is on the album cover).
Ok, so he didn't play the drums, but everything else (vocals, guitars, bass and synths) is done by him. ^^

The Necromancer (4970)
You can't put a whole genre into one can, let alone SEVERAL genres. I assure you that there are awesome songs (and by that I mean songs that you would like) in all musical styles. The thing is that you might or might not be inclined to search for them depending on your preferences.

I think some metal can be nice sometimes, I like a few songs in most genres.

I think I'm the only one that likes this stuff though:

Though I really like hip hop as well, just not shit like the game, 50 cent etc.

And maybe some mellow songs with guitar:

Or banging electro:

etc, I could probably post up something from dubstep, numetal, jungle, samba and other things.
