Seems there have been a few thousand more reviews since this fiasco. Last night Skyrim had 104,(something) steam reviews, and now it's currently at 106,854. It's lost it's 'Overwhelmingly Positive' tag and is now tagged as just 'Very Positive'. So I've been watching this, and had a quick browse to ...

Never expected this to escalate quite as much as it has, people are furious and it's really damaged their trust in Valve. Gabe is a cool guy, and it's good he's talking, but I don't see any good outcomes for this purchasable mods debacle. From what Gabe is saying is that they're using data from the ...

Valve are deffinetly becoming a money farm, but the removing features from free accounts was to tackle the bot and scammer spam. A lot of people were getting constant adds from people trying phish logins or scam their items from them. Hasn't been too bad for me, but there was that one week I had lik...

Seems to me that it's no different to before, except now you purchase instead of subscribing, so no DRM at all. The workshop will just download the mods into the right file paths when you start up the game. Wouldn't take a genius to repackage and torrent them

I don't think it's terrible that people are selling mods, but Valve's approach is just awful. The modders only get 25%. The moderation is going to suck, in other words people can download somone's mod from a site then sell it on steam. Where are they going to stand on people selling mods based on ot...

I might look into custom huds again. I know in the past that they were just notorious for breaking or actually breaking the game itself after major updates. Maybe that all changed with Steampipe. Helps to make sure the creator is keeping it up to date.

That's a nice setup saint! At the right side of my desk there are: - Cable modem - Cisco ASA hardware firewall (VPN services) - Mikrotik routerboard (1Gbit LAN switch/router) - Cisco 1Gbit 8 interface switch (for port-mirroring to feed my network data for traffic inspection to Sourcefire) - Asus RT-...

Would reccomend a full sized wired mouse. I used a small mouse when I first got a laptop and didn't realise how much more comfortable and usable a regular sized one was until I upgraded. Wired because there can be a little bit of input lag with wireless, depending on quality.

Probably not for me really, but I must the say the attacks look quite readable, especially in PvP. Which is pretty cool, considering they're usually just particle discos.

Looks much smaller and a bit truer to the original map.

Had a little go with this game, it's a 3rd person shooter/pvp, free to play. Humans vs vampires so asymetrical classes. The vampires are able to climb and jump everything with some evasion, ambush and damage reduction abilities, while the humans have ranged weapons and some ablities for area denial ...

So I've currently got the new beta gamemode that valve's released setup on one of the servers. It's kind of wacky and probably not super balanced yet, but you can pick up power ups and you spawn with a grappling hook, so it's pretty fun. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/images/14/dec/grap2.jpg Hoping...
