Kinda hopeless, but improving (127)

Due to lag, I've lost all my food, enchanted dia armor, dia sword, 2 enchanted iron picks, torches, gold, iron, redstone, etc by somehow walking into lava when I stopped well short.

Not really happy at the moment, so may be taking a break until optifine comes out for 1.8. It really makes a difference for me being able to play.

This use to happen to me all the time, optifine will help a lot when it gets updated. I see it being way better to be honest, seeing how they updated the rendering engine. I would recommend trying the "Use VBOs" setting to see if that would help your performance any. Either way, come back soon, we have cake.

That sucks man. Hopefully Optifine will be out soon for everyone else having issues. :(

I was really frustrated about losing all that stuff. I'll probably be back sooner, lol, just not really going to get resources to make a house, etc.

I have experienced quite a bit of lag lately too. It is very frustrating so I just sit on the top of my mountain :86

Make sure you don't have your render distance set to 32 chunks :16

I have lag issues at 8! Try turning that down some :ugly:

Server lag is only an issue when I have Steam open, but client-side FPS lag comes from the render distance for me. I can run the game at 30+ FPS constantly at 7 chunks. (Which is strange but it works.) :81
