Hey all!

I might be interested to join if you approve me.
I'm total noob at these kind of games but i think i can learn and do what others say.

I'll try to log on again to your mumble server soon so i can check if my new mic is working properly.

I have to say, i might have electricity issues, but hopefully not.
Our powers have gone on and off a lot lately, but they are going for better way all the time.

I hope everyone is ready for tommrow, i wont be impressed if people don't turn up.

Remember we will be in mumble if you wish, if not then thats fine but it helps team work. I will get the server IP etc up soon, also we need to vote on some maps, so look at the front page of this thread and make your choices.

2fort and upward. I think 2fort would suit the vanilla stipulation.

I would suggest though for the sake of vanilla we play two maps released on launch.

Because the only other launch map is gravelpit, and I don't fancy playing that at all. Would be nice to have a payload with a cp map, rather two attack and defend games. Though I'm not gonna vote for well, how about some granary or something eh? There's so many good maps we could play.

You know actually I'm kinder torn between Badwater, and upward now. Badwater's such a good map.

There were only 6 launch maps, badwater wasn't one of them either; in fact, payload the game mode wasn't available for a while after launch.
Why don't you try Hydro, which might actually be fun without 3 snipers and engies per team (and actually having 1 engy per team).

I was useful even as scout if you take points as measurement and not capping or something stupid like that! :4
Good that I can remove that class from my personal future highlander match class TODOs now.

thx for the nice rounds!

I didnt have my brightest moments today, but i didnt have very high goals becouse didnt quite know what to expect as a first timer noob @ highlander.

All the english talk still takes some of my focus off the game, so i think i just have to join more to your mumble server so i get used to this.

Good work team. Most enjoyable, but I think it was more focused on the loudness of mumble which was highly amusing.
