Just listened to the complete cast instead of doing the accounting I wanted to do. :ugly:

Finally had time to listen thru the cast! Well done boys and just like people complained about the unbalance of teams, you should quit complaining about your "rusty casting skills"... Well done boys!

:26 thanks guys. but there are some things we need to work on - getting used to the moments where one or the other of us talks so we're not talking each other so much; (in my case anyway) pay more attention to what zombie is saying whilst still keeping track of what's going on so we get more of a dialogue going; getting the balance right between seeing the big picture and highlighting sweet individual plays (zombie's good at picking up these) (also, doing it without being all SHINTAZ GOES HUEG every time the spy uncloaks within a mile of the medic); i need to stop talking so fast at important bits, get a better mic and stop saying "yip" so much :mrgreen:

Commentary was great, coverage not so much :-P

I think one thing you guys need to do is explain things like, "red has just taken mid" "this is the last round on badlands" etc. just so it makes sense if you only have the audio. Perhaps one person focusing on the main deal i.e the contested point, the medics and the power classes the, big stuggle while another looks at what the specialist classes are up to, team commentators could be good too.

the casts were never really intended to be listened to without any visual accompaniment - they started out as being for people who wanted to sit in mumble and spectate the games, with the recording of that synced up with videos/demos of the match. i think that there's a few ways that we can divvy up the commentary, so we'll probably try out a few of those in practice to see what works for us :5:
