Well FTB is a lot less controllable, and you cannot look up things like block logs or rollback which would be the reason for a whitelist on there. CMP while still dangerous, is much more controllable, and will have admins watching over it.

As for the actual idea of a CMP server, I think this is a great idea. It would be like freebuild, but in premium minecraft where we can get a lot of new players. For the bans, I think we should just copy over them. If they were banned, then it was for a reason. Maybe have a way to reach CMP from SMP as well as from the IP?

Bans would have to be sent to a database for both servers to use them.

The servers would be accessible from their own addresses(cmp.specialattack.net and SMP.specialattack.net). They would also be connected by a portal or command, depending on how its decided to be done.
