Post subject:  Protection in survival!!
Survival now has a new protection plugin!!
This is just a basic guide, go HERE for more details. Please note that the blocks they use are different to what we use

BLOCKS
There are 3 types of protection blocks.
  • A sponge, this will protect 5 blocks around it. (Total of 11x11 protection)
  • Diamond Ore, This will protect 10 blocks around it (Total of 21x21 protection)
  • A Beacon, this will protect 20 blocks around it. (Total of 41x41 protection)
To begin with you will need to get one of these items. Then you place it in the center of the area you wish to protect.
^^Yes its really that simple!!

LIMITS
There are limits in place so that we dont have everyone making millions of protections. These limits are based on your rank.
  • Guests - Can only make 2 protections, and they can only use the Sponge Block.
  • Registered - Can make 3 protections, using ANY of the blocks
  • Member - Can make 4 protections, using ANY of the blocks
  • Veteran - Can make 5 protections, using ANY of the blocks
  • Contributor - Can make 6 protections, using ANY of the blocks

COMMANDS
  • /ps add [player] - Adds a player to your protection so they can build
  • /ps remove [player] - Removes a player from your protection
  • /ps view - View the bounds of your region
  • /ps info members - See who is a member in your protection

Does that mean if I were you donate to Speicalattack I would get 10 protections or just 6? and can you add beacons to the shop?

I'm sorry I don't want to fight withers all day long to get their heads. Then I have to summon the wither and kill while it destories everything around me and wrecks my amour and tools.

Well, you don't have to use a beacon. Cheaper and easier alternatives exist.

This. If you want a totally easy server in which everything is handed to you on a silver plater, no one griefs you and nothing is hard you already have it: its called single player.

There has to be some challenge to SMP, especially when the thing you get from doing this task offers a flatly enormous protection area and does not require rent. Beyond that, if you want easy to use protection, get the fuck back into Towny. I just do not understand this shit. You all pour into Survival 'cos you know you can grief and murder your tragic little hearts out (don't even TRY and convince me that there is any other reason) then you all break down in tears when you get griefed. Get a fucking grip. You want the easy life, Towny is there, you want Survival, you have to ACTUALLY SURVIVE.
