As it was posted on the main webpage, we are updating forums (and Drupal later). Please stand by as we revive all the features. Preferably recoded into new extensions rather hardcoding it into source code :ugly: .

TODO:
1) flags DONE
1.5) Look at issues with Mumble (maybe related to forums?) fixed
2) STEAM info in signatures
2.25) Fix Drupal logins
2.5) SpA points? Old ones probably
3) ??
4) party
5) update Drupal (6.x -> 8.x)
6) cry in the corner
7) roll back everything

The current situation is like Ondra's CoD's forum title. full of explosions and awesome guitar solos.
Kinda hopeless, but improving. Nerdish, tbh.

Just kidding. We love you, Ondra. :18

This new forum theme is popping :5:

This new forum theme is the default one :ugly:
I am slowly trying to rewrite all the (previously) hardcoded mods into the new extensions so that they are universal for:
a) any template
b) (hopefully) any future update

You may have noticed that flags are back!

Also if you notice something missing from my TODO list, inform me, I will definitely overlook some stuff. You may see here and there notices/warnings on the top - do not mind them, forum is in DEBUG mode until I finish rewriting the extensions. Thanks! :4

No, mbl, do not tell me that you are not from AUS. I SAW THE SPECIAL CODE FOR YOUR IP! :ugly:

But Ondra! My secret plan has failed. Now what will I do D:

Speaking of which, the IP database probably needs updating

Mumble! MUMBLE!

I think I fixed it. Just had to update the mumble's auth scripts with new crypto :ugly:
If anybody still has issues with mumble tell me!

What is this? Where am I?

Post subject:  Re: Updating

I must say I dislike the new theme, however, mainly when being on the forums and not the topics itself.

In regard of reading topics, I have no clue why they decided to put the user info on the righthand side of the screen. It feels out of place there. Otherwise it looks alright I guess.

Also, I am missing the frontpage banner on the top.

/* complaining mode off */
Good work on doing the updates though! Can't be stuck in the past forever with all these security issues and what not all the time.

More changes!

STEAM below your signature should be back!
Reinstalled subsilver2 template (thanks held for link :p). But it does not have any of the SpA changes (yet). You can change to it in your UCP. But it is highly buggy because it is not official update by the phpBB team.

Welp.

Fixed logging in on the homepage in Drupal (same issue as with Mumble)
Tried setting default template to subsilver2 - somebody did a conversion of original subsilver to 3.1.1. Will need update to fit the previous style though...

What is the purpose of updating? I'm guessing it's for security and compatibility with newer devices and stuff?

Will we notice any cosmetic or functional differences once the work is done?

I dont think the old SpApoints are supported anywhere or used for anything currently by the way. Sounds like a frustrating job, but I believe that if there is man on earth for this job it is you and your disciples :5:

Because 3.0.12 came out few years ago. The logical step would be 3.1.0 which came out.. a month ago? and 3.1.1 which came out like 5 days ago. Saintk asked about randomly mentioned updates about a month ago so I said "sure". Drupal has got already two major updates (and many minor updates) compared to what we are running now.

Yeah, future compatibility mostly. And security.

No clue, depends on how far we want to bring it back.

Not sure about the SpA points, I wanted to remake them and remake plugins for TF2 and GMod and.. and... but the sourcemod is SO AWFUL! :ugly:

Heldplayer is looking at updating the template or something. I will happily let him play for a while before I start updating the Drupal

Post subject:  Re: Updating

Actually I was wrong, we are only one major update behind on Drupal - we had 6.29, I have just updated it to 6.33 and all modules with it. Update to 7.33 will happen either today or next week, do not want to rush it :P.

Can we change the forums design color? The grey look makes everything look bland.
