If you are unsure on who I am, here is my Who are you post. http://forum.specialattack.net/viewtopi ... =3&t=14147
If you don't have the patience to read that Wall 'o text then I'll give you a short TL:DR.

My name is iHasFire and I first joined around October of 2010 in our minecraft section. A few months later my laptop broke down and so I was unable to play on SpA's server. Then after getting another computer (almost 1 year later) I found myself back in SpA's community. However in those few months I had gotten to meet a few [SpA] over mumble. (Lyca,Annarack, and a few other ones that I can't seem to name.)
Anyway, here's my Application.

Do you know what you’re applying for?
I am not primarily applying just for a tag, to me this is more than a tag. It's to "officially" become a member of the community that is SpA.
I have been with this community for a long time and I hope I have succeed in making myself known. Becoming a SpA member however comes with responsibility that I feel I can handle. I am very determined to help SpA where it lacks help and I will try my best to do so.

Can you help the SpA Community?
Helping people has always been one of my great attributes, however I am sorry to say that I lack skills in coding/webdesign etc. I hope my people skills can make up for that. I also have lots of experience with Lucid Dreaming and if you ever need help or want to hear/learn about it you can always PM me on the forums or you can find me on IRC.

Do we know who you are?
My Who are you post (which is linked at the top) has tons of information and if you'd like to know me better I'd recommend reading it.
Well for starters, my name is Chris and I am currently 18.
I live in Salzburg,Austria but I spent most of my life living in the United States.
I am on IRC daily and you can always find me there.
I check the forums very regularly and always try to post when I can, and to help direct people to the right section if they are lost. I also got about 400 posts in just a few months. I always try to make my posts detailed when needed.
I try to hop on Mumble regularly and I see a lot of SpA members but they are most of the time playing a game I don't know/don't have so it just feels like I'm just barging in on them. I will however try to maybe stop in and say hello since I love meeting all of you.

Are you gonna make a good server admin?
I take pride in my moderation and patience while being an admin. I always feel as if there must be someway to help someone with their troubles. I have been meaning to play TF2 more often since it runs a lot more smoothly now.(Always keep me notified of Fun days or Highlanders!) I love giving suggestions and feedback on how our server runs and I always feel that there is room for improvement and I might be able to help with that.

Do you have a sense of fun?
Having a sense of humor and fun is really critical in enjoying games. I tend to promote a lot of laughs out of people and I try to not leave people out of my fun. When ever I play with SpA members we always have a jolly good time and sometimes I can't breathe from laughing. I also understand there is a border of when it's funny and when it could seriously offend someone.

Can you accept that you aren't going to please all of the people all of the time; and vice-versa?
Now since this isn't a perfect world not everyone will be happy with your decisions and you just have to accept that and not get all butt hurt about it. At the same time I think everyone can atleast try their best to please those who aren't, because after all SpA has a well known reputation of being a nice community and I will try to uphold that.

Thanks for having a read, I hope I didn't make any mistakes or gave wrong answers etc. I would like to thank SpA regardless if I get accepted or not, you guys have been amazing and I am proud to be amongst everyone here. Shall everyone live long and prosperous.

That's a trademark, not a patent! Those are totally different words  Not saying they don't mean the same

Lucid dreams eh. Do you ever find the experience of your dreams is limited by your creativity? Lucid dreams seem nice, but do the ever get repetitive? Personally I like the randomness and shock associated with my dreams, and I don't think I'd want to substitute that with a semi-alert form of controlling dreams.

Lucid dreaming is limited only by your imagination - so it's not really limited at all.

If it gets repetitive just mix it up a bit. Typically, most dreams in today's society are oriented around goals - the random dreams you experience typically have you on a mission of sorts, right? And you'll hit a tangent and your goal will change. Out of the blue, on occasion, there'll be a major event which changes things.

I read a paper on this at some point for school, it was quite interesting. I don't really remember the reasons behind it though, something to do with higher stress rates and a different social construct. Anyway, the main thing with dreaming and lucid dreaming is that things like time and place are always random. You could be in 2050 rather than 2012. You could be 40 years old or 4 years old. Most of the time in any dream you can't change these things. They're absolutes. You have to accept them and work within the boundaries that spring up - that's where your room to screw around comes into play. Nothing is really certain - lucid dreaming is very vague, but there's always some barrier that you have no control over. Sometimes, that barrier becomes upset by a spontaneous change which you have no control over either - something like a tsunami or volcano eruption, a hurricane, a line of tanks coming in, etc.

End of the day, you're still dreaming and not everything is in your absolute control. It's less like you're sitting on a rollercoaster just "accepting" the ride, and more like you're driving a car or riding a bike. You can choose which route you take but you can't choose what's in the route, if that makes sense?

So no, it's not going to get repetitive at all if that's what you're worried about. The only element of repetition is you choosing the same road out of a thousand, a thousand times.
