So i have only just starting playing tf2 as i have now actually got a computer torun it without it killing itself, so my problem is (might be missing somthing here but yeah) that i have found items in game like 2 sandviches and so i want to trade them, when i go into the trade menu with my mate it then only shows up the l4d2 items and nothing else, not sure if its a bug but the tf2 wiki says the items are tradable, is it because you have to buy the item for it to be tradable and not just find the item in a game ????

in the top left of the trade menu there should be the L4D2 icon. click on that, and a drop down menu should appear, and you should be able to select TF2 from there

We are in the TF2 menu and in brackets it says 24 (guessing thats how many items you have for trade), but it only shows the 2 items from left for dead nothing more.

I think in order to trade, you must have a premium account.

A suggestion on getting one, wait for a TF2 item sale. You can upgrade your account to premium by buying any in-game item, so I personally waited till a $0.50 item went on sale for like $0.13 and got a my account premium for cheap!

Or, buy white paint for 5$, seeing that it goes for over 6 ref now, it's a better deal than buying and selling keys (from manco store at least).

Alright I shall try that hopefully it works as it has been possibg me off -_-. I should jump on the SpA server more often xD
*Edit* I have found out that you do have to have a premium account so that you can fully trade items and not just have a semi trade system, thanks for the info.
