"- Added the Monday Night Combat gear." ...more promotional items that do nothing, kind of good, kind of ridiculous. New scout misc item is nice, but I kind of wish that valve would make it so that you got like, 1 of the 3 items randomly when you bought it, and then added them to the drops as a really rare item (rarer than hats) for other people. Just giving buyers the 3 items undervalues them- making a chance of getting 1 of 3 makes the socks rare, as no one (or at least not many people) wants a ball cap. |

The socks are awesome But i agree with Fehzor, but the minute i went on a trashy pubby server at lunch yesterday, there was already a wall of spam of people looking for socks! I thought the promo game was quite cool looking, same reason i got the poker game, cause it looked fun. I didn't buy the sam/max promo when it came out because it was expensive, and was alot of games i didnt really think id get to play in full. |

I wonder if that promo gear will be worth shitloads of money one day like Max's head. |

doubt it, maybe just under bills hat, because the sam/max game bundle was like 30quid or something, and less people would buy that due to the cost (if they only wanted the hat) than this game which was on a tenner (and looks like a fun game tbh) my scout looks FAB baby! |

Eventually, all promotional items, down to Ellis's cap and the frying pan, to vintage trophy belts, will become like maxes head, to a slightly different degree, simply because they are constantly being hoarded, and destroyed. For instance, some people have like 8 earbuds, and others craft vintage hats toghether when they get desperate. Its economics, but it still takes time, and effects everything. EDIT: And I decided to buy the game on Friday, so I don't slack off. |
