* Replaced the no-crit attribute with -25% damage on the following:

Medic:
* Vitasaw
o Added the ability to see enemy health
* New Medigun - The Quick-Fix:
o Heal rate increased 50%

o Not able to overheal
o Match the speed of any faster heal target
o Uber effect: Megaheal
+ Heal rate increased 3x on heal target
+ Heal target and medic immune to stun and damage forces

Heavy:
* Dalokoh’s
o Removed cooldown
* Fists of Steel
o Increase deploy times 20%
o Ranged damage reduced 40% (down from 60%)

Demo:
* Loch-n-Load
o +10% damage

Soldier:
* Equalizer
o Tuned high-end damage range so it's no longer possible to one-shot certain classes
o Suppress the medic call effect while active

Scout:
* Madmilk
o Heal 60% of damage done (down from 75%)

Pyro:
* Flares always crit burning targets, regardless of range.
* Backburner
o Removed the restriction on airblast
+ Ammo cost increased 150% (4 blasts at full ammo)
o Damage bonus reduced to 10% (from 15%)
* New Flaregun - The Detonator:
o Alt-fire detonates flare in flight
+ Does a small explosion that catches players on fire
o 20% explosion damage vulnerability

Sniper:
* Sydney Sleeper:
o +25% increased charge rate


General:

* CombatText:
o Added an option to display healing done over heal targets (hud_combattext_healing)
o Display a value whenever the player does something that earns them a bonus point
o Starting position of values is now affected by range to target, making it easier to see numbers when next to targets
* Medic overheal effect is now more noticeable
* Synced with changes from the official releases

*drool* backburner may finally be viable for more than just me playing one handed, flaregun now crits on burning enemys regardless of range which would make my style of combat a lot more powerful, and a new flaregun too, which if done properly alows the pyro to rocketjump.

God i hope these make it into the proper game :mrgreen:

Can't say i care for the -25% damage on the melee weapons (especially the powerjack, plus the melee vulnerability like the FoS really hurts it :( ), but as we learned from the blutsuger ages ago no crit just isn't a very viable downside.

This kind of thing, beta testing, is what I love seeing valve do. Kind of shows they care, and aren't trying to just milk us for money. Not that they aren't trying to milk us, of course they need a profit somehow.

Pyro jump looks great- and needed, I'm not a big fan of the nerfed melee weapons, esp. the gunslinger, and the new medic gun looks nice. I'll have to try all this out...

Some awesome changes, altough all those nerfs to melee weapons will be very bad for no-crit servers. And I dont like the idea of airblasting backburner - I know it takes 50 ammo per blast, but its not like you dont have ammo or dropped metal from weapons everywhere :roll:

Hmmm... The new backburner idea- didn't see it yesterday- I like. That way, it won't feel so horrible to get killed by it. Kind of like the FaN and Natasha, seeing a pyro with the backburner kill me as spy was kind of... T_T. Now it seems to take more skill.

It also makes me glad that valve isn't just making a new flamethrower with higher power, and more consumption of ammo.

They should just remove all those weapons from the game again. Can't believe what a mess TF2 became. It was so great a few years ago.

At least they didn't nerf the axetinguisher. That's the melee of choice for me when it comes to pyro. I had to read that list three times to make sure :shock: Don't like the idea of the backburner, I mean it already does more damage and crits from behind. I always thought it was a nice choice to make between that and the degreaser. Now it's looking as though the backburner will rule. Same thing with the powerjack :/

Giving the back burner airblast is lame, i like the idea of it creating two variable pyro classes, one very offensive (in the right hands) and the other defensive.

Soldier:
* Equalizer
o Suppress the medic call effect while active

That is an awesome feature, i hope they add this at to the real game, because soldiers who scream medic with that equipped... do not get healed by me...

I did this yesterday :oops: I usually run off with it and scream medic, and just switch back to the launcher when I find one.

I was hoping there'd be an update that'd make demomen less irritating :evil:

I'd disagree, while it would stop people from spamming medic calls, when you have low health and there are no medics around, you're likely to spam medic regardless of your weapon.... if a medic comes by, great, switch weapons. If not, keep running. And I like spamming MEDIC! with it. That too.

o Removed walking abilitys

That's actually pretty neat. Should be fun if they end up implementing that into the game. If you're up against another sniper with the sleeper as of now, you're fucked.

The sniper thing (yeah, I did skip it...) is probably more because of the fact that you HAVE to charge it to get the piss making effect, and it does kind of take too long to get it as is. The one thing I'd change about it to go with this is the amount of damage done, or gained from charge... the thing that makes it overpowered with this, is that you can outcharge and thus outshoot your normal rifle counterparts too easily when they can't headshot you, if you have the crock hat.
