I'll update this as we go along.

Changed the game mode to moneygrub which is a freeroam type mode but you get the money that the person has who you kill. Will try to set it up so you could change game modes from freeroam with spawnable stuff to moneygrub for a set amount of time and everything would reset or something. This would be until I can think up a way to get it into more rpg gang family type thing.

Right so there are several ideas we can have for this Gta server but what seems to be most popular is a rpg server of some sorts but we want to know your opinions so leave a reply saying your idea :4

Gone through a lot of different game modes and most good ones are outdated or not what I'm looking for. Would like to find some kind of gang war rpg type thing with controlling areas and such, but will need to dig more for it.
If anyone finds anything interesting you can put a link here and I'll take a look at it :D

the server i played on rp the familys like they change there name on it so it could be like el ells or ect ect as there isnt any mods to really do that as you said so really i think we should just rp the families like keep a list of the names in the families so nobody can cheat then change there name to somthing that could be in the family/gang

not a guild more like gangs that was the idea for the server so far my original idea was just a rpg server if you want to get a gang or family you can do that but the majority of players can be on their own doing jobs like gun runner or drug seller or lawyer (drug seller and gun runner are illegal jobs so then you need a police force maybe set up a recruitment for police on the forums)
My idea for jons so far:

Illegal jobs

whore
gun runner
drug seller
gang/bodyguard


Legal jobs

Police officer
FBI (have to of been in the police force for some time)
Lawyer (gets players out of jail time and stars they earn)
Mechanic (fixed out of fuel cars and damaged cars)
Taxi driver



More would be added later there are mods for these jobs and that i know where to get the mod so far i havnt found it but i havnt really been looking xD but i know its out there

It was down cause I was gonna put a test mod on it but there were problems with compiling the mod and I forgot to put it back on :3 So I'll put it up and continue searching for a mod. But yeah I don't think there is any point in having more than 2-3 gangs before we have more players then we can add police and stuff but would need to see how that can be implemented. One could be that we make our own mod so that could be expanded as much as we like.

There can only be one game mode at the same time. There can be many scripts but I'll need to look into everything cause I literally have no idea how to make anything for samp yet :D

Thanks but I'll look into that when we have something that cheating would cheat cause now for all I care people can cheat as much as they want if they just don't ruin the fun for others :D Will add a vehicle and or weapon spawner at least this weekend if I don't find anything else that is useful :D

bad news i buggered up my gta sa because i was a numpty and fiddled about with it too much ¬¬ but there is some good from this

1. im going to make a video on how to backdate/setup your gta for samp
2. i will make a video on how to install samp and how it works ect ect

so i will be off for a couple of days making the video and getting all the files together just a heads up :P


also here is some helpful mods it has quite a few on one page but the chat logs and a password so you can keep your character money ect ect are really good mods that we would need :P

Im pretty sure there is a pretty good tutorial on the SA-MP website telling you how to install it onto the Steam and Non-Steam version.

Edit: OOOH also a cool event type game mode would be like a Battle Royal type thing with a timer on everybody's life which starts so you would all die at a predetermined time and when you kill someone you get a part of their life time that is left. People would respawn with the reduced life time and would see who can survive the longest. A fun thing would be a custom island type map.

yes but they dont show how to backdate plus a video is much better when you can just watch what they do pause it and then copy what they have done instead of thinking where the heck is that directory they said to go into

It's really hard to take something from one game mode and a little bit from another game mode cause we can only run 1 at a time so can't have two and disable some of the others features.

Edit: also went through all of System32 scripts and they are all pretty bad. I'm setting up Vortex server to see how it feels and gonna continue making my custom stuff at the same time, but they are probably gonna be independent of each other. But if vortex is good then we can also stick with it :D
