Gmod info
As you may or may not have noticed there is now a SpA garrys mod server. The server is usually played a few nights per week. So feel free to join in on the fun!

Some technical info.
The server is currently running a lot of different maps and gamemodes. Some of these are Trouble in Terrorist Town(TTT), Murder, Hide and Seek, Sledbuild, Prophunt and Pirateship wars. Maps are there a ton of and the server is setup so it should make you automatically download the map from the workshop. (If that does not work, find the map in the workshop and start the download!)
Also if you are new to gmod, most mods require that you have counter-strike:source installed and preferably also TF2 for sandbox. The server are still being worked on, and more modes and maps will be added or removed, with the newest addition being the pointshop where you can buy your very own hat, custom models and more!

Haha, I was there with Jonesy yesterday. Couldn't figure out how to change levels and shit (actually, we just wanted Sandbox), so we left and went crying in a corner.

Yea, you can't change map unless you have a rank on the server, a.k.a operator and above.
Not too many have been ranked yet to needing steamid if the person is not located on the server. (I'm lazy)

Edit: Just so everyone knows, I'm gone skiing from Sunday to Thursday. Should be available on mobile steam from time to time, contact Don about stuff. Otherwise if you really need me and can't reach me, contact Enjano he knows how to contact me. ;)

Update, updates & more updates
About a week ago the new gmod server were launched and is currently running with great success. The server is being played quite a bit, with a usual crowd of 8+ people most nights. Most nights involve the gamemode "Trouble in Terrorist Town", where Traitors try to kill of all the innocent while trying to not be caught doing. Which more than often results in hilarious situations of people accusing each other of being the Traitor. A lot of other gamemodes are also played, like the classic prop hunt, where you try to hide from the seekers by disguising as a prop.

Todays update to the server includes a few new mods and some maps needed for those mods. Something to keep in mind is that one them requires TF2 to be installed.
List of updates:
- Zombie survival
- Ultimate chimera
* With 5 new maps for the gamemodes
- The Stalker
- And 2 more yet to be tested mods.

To play
As the server have updated, you should subscribe to this collection which contains all maps and gamemodes. (You don't have to, but it reduces the need to download stuff and a few others issues that might otherwise occur).
WORKSHOP COLLECTION
Also some other requirements if you have yet to join one of the awesome nights:
Counter-Strike: source and Team Fortress 2 (You only need the textures, so you can get them in other ways, ask me if you need help on how to get them!)

Listened to the feedback about the guns:
mp5:
-increased clip-size from 15 to 20
-faster fire-rate from 0.13 to 0.11 (lower = higher fire rate)

Probably not gonna do anything about the H.U.G.E as it is one of the vanilla guns for TTT, so will leave it at default settings unless to many people think a buff is really needed for it. And a bit of unbalance makes things more fun.

also, so it is the same as other server:
ak47:
- Does not randomly spawn
- TODO: add to T menu (with slight buff).

(Settings will take effect on next restart of the gmod server)

Sounds good, will be interested to see how the mp5 works now. I think nearly everyone has agreed at some point the H.U.G.E is a very bad gun, I would probably use the 9mm pistol over it given a choice. I think the damage is too low, and the recoil on it makes the fast fire rate less useful.

No more ak-47s for the innocents? :(

From the beginning the configuration for the ak47 was for the T to buy it, aka no randoms spawns. As people seem to want the ak47 back; I will re-add the ak47 tommorow so it randomly spawns again. (As to why it was changed back; some new people are used to it being a T only weapon, which could cause a bit of confusion).

Oh, and before I forget. I'm still working on adding more models and such to the pointshop, because who does not want to look *fabulous*. This also includes trying to fix the missing icon textures in the item menu.

And as always suggestions are welcome. :D

What I did was add it to my favorites. When you click on the server list, it'll say legacy browser on the side. Click on that and click on the favorites tab in that browser. It should say add server or something where you just put in the IP.

To update on what changed on the server during the last week+:

Server updates:
- Added maps to fastdl
- Added slender man mod
- Added sandbox maps for possible building competition
- Readded jihad bomb
- Removed maps from workshop that now exists on fastdl
- Removed unused addon files to free up space
- Removed tf2-maps to free up space

Todo:
- Fix fastdl for textures, sounds and more.
- Look into the garryware mod.
- Check workshop ids to remove the last of the unused addon files.
