And could we put clanstack allowed in the title?
Should make for fun games :P

You know you can search for highlandergames in #tf.wars?
Might be easier than setting up a server for only training pruposes for the bunny team.

The highlander type game is just very popular atm.
We should cash into that and get a server running.
And to make sure that everybody knows its not a pussy server and that you actually have to play as a team you put in stacking allowed.

Would highlander conflict with any of the plugins we currently run? Or could we for example simply grab server 1's config and stick the highlander cvar on there?

The team balance plugin could fuck up a good team play.
I would wait with introducing that one, if the server doesn't work without it you could always add it on a later stage.

Other wise it would run the same as the other servers but with the highlander option set and a smaller max player number.
As said before we could experiment with 18+2 to allow for a 'waiting list'.

Don't think so, because the built-in highlander cvar (mp_highlander 1) sets the class limits from the game itself, which prolly have priority over classlimits of a plugin.

Not that easy, as stuff bought with SpA points works across servers.

Unless you mean the actual immunity plug in bought with spa points should be turned off :D

just went on for a little bit; it wasn't very busy (it's only mid-afternoon, i guess) but this looks sweet! nonoice is right, this should be a big attraction to the hundreds of teams that've registered for the etf2l highlander. once we have it nice and tweaked, i might go an mention it over on their forums. i think that crits should be turned off though - it's going to be a no-holds-barred tactical team game, so having random crits on kinda gets in the way of that. other than that, looks like a damn fine job :4

I;ve been tracking the servers for the last hour and guess what!!
Almost all players are new to the server! The server has not been advertised or nothing and after 1 hour of uptime was halfway filled.
I think this is gonna play out good.
And yes, crits probably should be off. Highlander is where to real men play :P

I do think the max player should be allowed 20: The server has a dip in players after a round end.

And to counter for that phenomenon, just thinking aloud, maybee increase the map durating with 5 min to allow for the initial slow start because of the dropped players?

At first glance looks a more enjoyable game than on "normal" public server. Mostly because is not 1 demo/solly/heavy and a shitload of snipers/spies/engis.
