Well im sure he will find a decent editor (probably kidnap some poor Chinese kungfu film editor and lock him in his basement) but still this really sucks :(

So, what is your favourite(s) tarantino movies? (They dont have to be directed by him if you wish to include his written works)

I loved his version of Inglorious Basterds (even though it was a remake)
also his room in Four Rooms (check the film out if you havent seen it, its really cool, 4 directors, 4 Rooms! 1 Tim Roth Bellboy ^^)

Yeah the scene he did do for sin city was flipping awesome :)

Technically, he pretty much directed Dusk Til Dawn, in addition to acting and writing; as during filming, Tarantino pretty much acted like the little devil/angel sat on Rodriquez's shoulder. You can see it a lot in the characters and pretty much the first act of the film IS a Tarantino movie lol.

His room in 4 Rooms is epic though, and is the perfect end to the film :) RECOMMEND!

Jackie Brown, its Tarantino, at his least fawning and most impressive.

Its also the one movie of his where he doesn't look like he's aping Kitano's early directing works, which helps.

I love this song in Jackie Brown. And would I do Pam Grier?

Damn right I would!

And would I do Bridget Fonda?

Nope.

Yeah Reservoir Dogs borrows a lot from Violent Cop and Boiling Point Takeshi's earliest directed works. Oddly after Takeshi's work became popular in the west films like Brother and Sonatine got accused of just being Tarantino films.

No no they weren't. The lead girl turned 15 on set if I remember correctly the age range of the (child) cast was 14 to 23. Is like jail-bait roulette. A great game but laced with a profound sense of loss and regret... every time you get one of the legal ones

i loved the extended cut of that film, the scenes of deep character development and sorry were such a nice contrast to the ultra violence and panicked acts of survival.
