Ther might be a topic in here somewhere, but if there is i cant find it, about how many kicks you give someone before they're banned!
I have been told many different things about the "Warn, Kick, Ban" process. On Freebuild tonight people say 3 kicks before ban, while SA has told me to do 1 warn, 1 kick, 1 warn, 1 ban. That gives them 3 chances. I just want to get this cleared up so I can follow the rules, Thanks!

Freeze (Warn) - (If leave) Ban
Freeze (Warn) - Kick - Ban
Kick - Kick - Kick (Ban after third kick)
Griefer teams? Ban, Ban, Ban

On TF2 we have the one warning, one kick, one ban policy.
I believe Lim should probably decide the ban policy for MC.

Kick Ban. In the kick message you can add what they were doing wrong. If they come back, hide and keep an eye on them for some time, if they do the SAME offense (griefed an d griefs again; tunneled and tunnels again; NOT trolled and now tunnels) it is a ban, if they didn't get it with the kick, more warnings/kicks won't help... at all.

Warn, Kick, Ban has always been the baseline with the "Warn, Kick"-part optional in case of malicious intentional grief (ie griefer gangs).

It's not fair to ban someone who leaves when they've been frozen, they might think they're glitching and try relogging in, it's best just to kick or refreeze them upon return. They might disconnect at a bad time also, so yeah.

For me it depends. If someone is obviously a serial greifer I freeze,kick,ban. If it is someone new that you can tell just started playing I freeze, kick, kick, ban. They might greif then tunnel then block spam. So it might take them a kick or two to learn the rules.

Judging case by case is probably the best thing. When in doubt I stick to freeze/warn 2 kicks then ban. In the worst cases, like speed griefing, or grief overkill, it's a ban warn, then I hide and wait for them to do it again, then it's a ban. As for trolls and grief teams, ban banip banall banbanban, just make sure you get the right people.

Since I don't have ban/freeze, I try to;
1. Confirm.
2. Warn.
3. MAYBE second warn (it depends).
4. Kick.
Now, sometimes they return....
Here's how I go from there;
1. Watch (follow them from up high).
2. Kick. Any noticeable offense=instant kick at this point.
Then;
If they come back, either more kicks (typically as soon as they return), or I'll try to attrack the attention of someone higher rank.
