Hi...my name is Daniel...

I suppose it's time I introduced myself here; I've been playing minecraft for about 4-5 months, mostly on your servers(freebuild at first, then SMP as of around september). I've also been lurking your forums for a couple of months too, I just don't find a lot of things that require my input(I have a history of deleted posts on forums, so I try and "stay out of it" as much as possible).

Well... a bit about me I suppose: I'm 23 years old(24 in about 3 weeks), I'm currently unemployed, though I've done customer service for a wireless carrier for about 3 years now, I suppose if there's one thing I've learned in that time, it's that cell phones are evil, I just may never have another one in my life, if you ever mention a cell phone to me I will come find you.

Enough with the inner rage though, I do have some hobbies. I love to read, fantasy being my favorite, seconded by sci-fi. I have read every star wars novel ever published and can recite the dialogue from the first three movies(not the prequals). I've read the Lord of the RIngs at least 8 times, though I've only read the silmarillion once, thats just too much to go through a second time. My second largest hobby would be guitar, which I've played since I was 15. I've dabbled in programming since I was about 12, though I've forgotten more than I've learned I'm sure. And, pretty much when I'm not doing any of those things, I'm playing video games, xbox for most things, though I will only play FPS on PC. I've also got a Wii, which I've been trying to convince my wife to sell for almost 2 years.

I've been married for a year and a half, we have a grumpy old cat and a 7 month old newfoundland puppy who already weighs 80 pounds(with all luck she will reach 150 pounds or more). No children yet, though not for lack of trying.

Anyway, I think that's most of the more interesting stuff... let me go get the mail here... lets see unemployment office, could be interesting. <5 minutes later> hey unemployment's approved, TAKE THAT AT&T!!


EDIT: Oh yeah, I live in Indiana.

Newfoundland, what an awesome pick for a dog. I have a caucasian mastiff at home and they make wonderful playbuddies during winter since you can wrestle them. Pretty sure a newfoundland can hold his own as well.

@ don_don_don: Just one electric at the moment, gloss black epi less paul studio, traded a bunch of stuff in to get a bugera v22(all tube "vintage" amp) I've been piddling around trying to learn this for a couple of days, about halfway through.
