Am I wrong when I think that Staight edge is normally without meat or/and also without milk products? And same with alcohol?
I know there are different Straigh edge people, but just taking no drugs is not really much
Way back in the day, the late 70's early 80's Ian MacKaye then with Minor threat wrote a song called straight edge that was about not doing drugs and drinking, also detailed in his songs were his ideals of no physical violence and no promiscuous sex. The core of the movement is sobriety, drug free, no sex and no fights, so that was edge then the vegan stuff came later when they are decided they were better than everyone else and had to find more ways to prove it.
Love the music hate the scene.
