Hey, I recently screwed up my internet default DMZ settings, as I was trying to open ports and stuff for my classic server. I open my software, and it tries the first 20 ports from 25565 up and shows that none of them are open, and then closes. What is the default DMZ server meant to be? My external/internal ip or something different?

Go to start -> run -> cmd -> ipconfig /all

The IP at your LAN adapter (10.x.x.x, 192.x.x.x or 172.16.x.x) is the one you are after on setting as "default DMZ server" (quite an incorrect term, but we'll accept it for the moment ;) )

I found the 168.x.x.x, typed it into WAN Setup Default DNZ Server and clicked apply, Still says couldn't find any ports on my server software through the first 20. I know it's something to do with this because before I changed any internet settings only I could connect to my classic server, no one else

168. ? Thats a public IP. Are you sure you even need PAT("NAT") for your network? Don't you perhaps just need to open the ports at your (local) firewall?

I went through a port forwarding guide and followed closely, but I realised I changed my internet settings about a couple of weeks before that. I set the firewall rules to allow the port and UCP (I think) connection inbound today. If I can get the default DMZ server to what it what before I changed it it will probably work.

Just skimmed through my cmd prompt again and found a 192.x.x.x ip, entered that into the box. Is that the one I want to enter in my default DMZ server's box?

I don't yet know if other people can connect, my friend on Skype said that it shows the message "Failed to connect. It's probably down!"

http://www.minecraft.net/play.jsp?serve ... 32acf09baf

Does it work for you?

It works, atleast when you are using the wom client to connect.
EDIT: Lots of guests connecting to it right now
