Best films for me, err like over the last couple years? I've probably missed some good stuff, but before uni I couldn't afford the cinema, and now there's no cinemas near my uni
Here's what I can remember, probably 'cause I rewatched them recently.
Shutter Island
Scott Pilgrim
Coraline and 9 (hope for mainstream animation yet?)
Harry Brown
Rec (first horror for a long time to actually scare me, 2 is shit)
Cloverfield
Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
I think the worst two films I care to remember because I actually expected something good from them.
Hellboy 2, visuals were fucking stupid, I know people have a real hard on for it, but I preferred him fighting Kroenen the steampunk-esque nazi, rather than giant flowers, golden armies, and fucking wizards. I mean that part where he gets drunk with Abe and they start singing about women problems
2012 is just a big show of CGI, and everything else was total bullshit. Like outrunning the ground falling apart, and dodging falling building just in the nick off time, fuck off.
But yeah Crab it's not like they're all bad films, it's just you need to see better ones
