Well the abc warriors came in all shapes and sizes. The one from the film being based off one vision of them in the comic.

I would know ofc; as im sat opposite 2000AD at work -.-

Nope. None of the actual ABC warriors looked anything like that thing. For reasons passing understanding, some cretin at 2000AD latter changed Hammerstein completely to resemble that pile of polystyrene nonsense for a shot or two but no one paid it any heed.

All they did was remove the outer shit from around his head (and the hammer). He is still based off the original design; and what else didn't they complete change in that film; i don't agree with it, but sometimes when adapting one medium to another you have to alter things in order for it to translate properly.

*FYI I'm not defending that steaming pile of shit film, hopefully the new Garland film will be much better (not that it has to try hard very hard)
