Sorry for what i'm about to say, i do not mean to cause offence to anyone ever who has had to deal with or been unfortunate enough to have a loved one afflicted with the following;
but after seeing those two clips, I hope for nothing more than George Lucas's Ranch to burn to the ground, get AIDS, Cancer and the bubonic plague all at the same time, in addition to being hit by a few buses. Furthermore, all his money being donated to charities that help AIDS, Cancer and bus accident victims. To round it all off, Law's will be passed that no film maybe tinkered with, in regards to plot or editing once it has been officially released (only exceptions being sound remastering and smell-o-vision). Furthermore, no new film which is produced can have anymore than 10% CGI (excluding films which opt for 100% CGI like pixar movies... or Episode 1 har har).
Lucas's ashes will be spread down an alleyway behind a Yates pub in Essex, UK.

Mclusky you can still buy the DVD classical version but you will have to look around for it. These versions contain both versions.

Can someone please explain to me what the hell is going on?
Are they editing things in the old movies for a new release on blu-ray or what am I missing?
they are adding stupid and pointless bits of audio to the original films, for no reason and does nothing but actually ruin the scenes
and I like slagging off lucas, because he is a giant

They did the special editions about a decade or so ago, which had remastered sound, some new treatments for special effects etc but nothing story changing; and most of those updates were purely cosmetic and overall welcomed. Then post the new episodes they added more crap to them; like chucking the fucking douche Hayden Christensen in at the end of Jedi instead of Sebastian Shaw made no fucking sense whatsoever and was a big mistake; a) because Hayden is a shit actor and b) why not put the little kid there instead, would have made just as much sense; George Lucas is a terrible director, he cannot work with people, and because of his mini erection over the improper uses of CGI in film, he makes it incredible difficult for the actors to actually be able to do good performances (N.Portman; is normally a very good actor, but in the new episodes was like a plastic fuck doll, and Ewan McGregor having the worst accent and was completely wooden). Most of the actors had to deal with being in a complete green screen room, which is a real challenge, especially when there is nothing to emote with apart from a tennis ball on a tall guys head. These new sound updates are crap, they sound bad, they ruin the integrity of the characters, Darth only says "noooo" in this new scene because Lucas is trying to cover up his fuck up as a director in Revenge. The obi line is straight up retarded. I think he is changing Yoda in Ep1 to CGI instead of Kermit, but i dont really give a fuck about that, to be fair, making him CGI is probably a good idea, seeing as the rest of the film is all CG anyway, apart from Liam Neeson's Beard.
If you are wondering what I mean by the proper use of CGI, look at films like Terminator 2, Jurassic Park, and Batman Begins; (two of which having physical sfx by the late Stan Winston) those films only use CGI when it is impossible or insane to try and do the SFX for real. So the dinosaurs were all models and puppets with animatronics for the close up shots and some wide shots, but shit like running etc and vista work was all cgi (and on JP, stan winstons team provided the textures for the CGI models [i.e. physically hand painted before becoming digital] and the animations were done mostly using motion tracking puppets, so they could be organically hand animated). The T1000 had to be CGI, there was no other way, but most of the T-800 stuff was a model. Batman Begins has hardly any CGI, but it is impossible to make 2000 bats fly in a certain way, so that is when CGI is useful. Then you get films like Inception, which, are impossible to do realistic, but in regards to the story, it doesn't matter if the CGI doesn't look real.
The only thing i like about Lucas is Howard The Duck; other than that, he can go fuck a Drill.
LOL, btw, if you haven't seen RedLetterMedia's reviews of the latest 3 episodes, you should. They are hilarious - i mean, mental funny.

Haha, that guy is brilliant.
Yeah he is fucking funny, but youtube took down his attack of the clones review and some other guy put it up, but cut out all the serial killer stuff and his basement bits, he basically did a lucas to red letter media lol still funny, just not as crazy! can't wait for the revenge of the sith one
EDIT!
Correction, he has uploaded the Revenge of the Sith review, but under a new name, so they wont get taken down. Still watch the attack of the clones review, it is still funny, just not as fucking crazy as it once was!

I know, but on the homepage of RedLetterMedia you can watch the un-edited versions.
At least there are still scenes in the basement and how he forces that woman to watch the movie, etc.

No I AM a Star Wars fan, I just utterly support all the changes Lucas has made in a desperate attempt to make 4, 5 & 6 measure up to 1, 2 & 3. (insert disbelieving rage here )
