Would there be a chance that a petition would change something about how Valve is trying to hold back every way that ppl try to customize their servers?
If so, would there be somebody here who knows a good way to start an online petition for that then getting that stuff to valve?

Well, you could write a petition and send it to them. One with a propper explanation why we think what they do is wrong.
