Shocking. Dawnofdusk overcoming laziness? Unheard of!

As you may have assumed, my name is Dawnofdusk, though I'm often called "Dawn," or "Dusk." I am a regular on the SpA Minecraft servers (as well as the IRC) where I am a member on both Freebuild and Survival Multiplayer, though I only got member on Freebuild because I wanted to be able to say I was a member on both :L

I, in my vain little world, find myself very humorous. I am known on SpA for witty remarks and the correction of grammar and spelling erors errors (I'm going to assume I'm known for these things -.-).

I am American, as many on SMP.SpA know, but wish I lived in another country for they're their amazing accents.

I am mainly a PC gamer at the time, but I also enjoy a select few console games, namely Nintendo's Legend of Zelda franchise. I find the genre of "FPS" to be utterly overrated and completely despise it, however, I do enjoy a unique FPS such as Team Fortress. I myself am a fan of the puzzle, adventure, action, fighting, stealth, and strategy genres as well as sandbox/non-linear games. I'm currently a big fan of: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (should've gotten 2011 Game of the Year *mutter*Skyrim*mutter*), Civilization V, Batman Arkham City, Dungeon Defenders, and DotA 2 (I feel disappointed when I'm on SMP and no one gets it when I say "D-d-d-d-double kill!" "<playername> is UNSTOPPABLE!" "GODLIKE").

I pride myself to have wandered the inner workings of the internet in search of gold (metaphorically, though literal gold would be nice). Many of the gaming communities I have stumbled upon on are writhing piles of trolls and a volley of racially insensitive remarks. I find this one to be a quite nice community (I credit the "No Hate" rule to have filtered out most of the said writhing piles of trolls and volley of racially insensitive remarks.)

And Minecraft, which is the main ONLY thing I am known on in SpA. I joined Minecraft in Beta 1.2, though I've known about it in early Alpha, but was turned away by the absolutely terrible Classic version. I have many friends that also play Minecraft, many of them on SpA's Minecraft servers, which include eman2000 (Member on SMP), Nitron200 (also, member on SMP), and macktastic360 (Veterinarian Veteran on SMP).

I'm glad I can be a part of a great gaming community. Hope to stay with you guys for awhile. :3

Basically just DotA spiffed out with some amazing graphics, matchmaking, and a lack of heroes. They also changed some names around: Guinsoo's Scythe of Vyse is now Scythe of Vyse (symbolically kicking Guinsoo out of DotA?), Buriza-da-Kyanon (I think) has now become Daedalus, which is far easier to spell than this 'Buriza-da-Kyanon' crap. Lothar's is now a BLADE by the name of Shadowblade. That's about all I can think of off the top of my head. BTW, I'd recommend sticking with good ol' WC3 DotA for awhile, considering the lack of heroes and the fact that so many people come from League of Legends and Heroes of Newerth and think they're experienced enough to handle DotA. Everyone I met of this origin turned out to be feeders or really bad supports.
