anybody playing this? I played the beta some months ago and it was quite some fun. I started to play on the "Alexandria" realm. So if you wanna try it (it's F2P), join that realm and gimme a shout.

hmmmm never went past the second age of empires. It still remains an amazing

I remember when I use to have Age of Empires II lan games with my mates at the local cyber cafe then the shop owners would rip us off by saying 'if you beat us you get 20 hours for free just give us 4 quid' we were like 13/14! Bastards roflrolling us with elephants!

Might give it a go sometime, no point not to, it's free.

Oh THIS game is an affront to anyone who enjoyed the older games in the series. Even the people who were playing it were talking about how rubbish it is. If its own player base hates it...poor game....it could of been something great....

And free is a loose term with this game, a lot of the content is "locked" and not by progression, but by microtransactions. Its a very bad F2P Model that they adopted, which is a shame as well.

1) I play AoE from the very first beginning.
2) I enjoy playing AoEO (already played a bit in the beta a year ago).
3) You can buy "premium" for some Euros. Not 1000s of microtransitions.

I love how people wanna play games all the day without paying anything for them. -.-
