1) Currently the "Live server stats" on the main page link to "join server". I found this a little bit irritating at the first moment. Wouldn't it be better to link these really to the hlstatsx page of each server and put an additional "join" link there?

Yeah well alot of things could be added to the website , like latest posts from the forum, newest members, member of the week(?), best player(s) of the server that day (or week) with some award? And soooo much more :p hahaha

true, but the backend of the website will stay intact. So whatever we put on / move onto it now, will be able to be displayed at the final design.

These are possibility's, but imo these things always bloat up a website, making it very messy very quickly. All these stats can be drawn from the availble systems such as HLstatsX etc. New members, member of the week etc, not really my type of thing to announce on the front page. All these things will be ofcource on the website in a sepperate section, but not mainly visable directly on the front page. The front page needs to look nice 'n tidy

We won't be working too much on the design of this website. Most feature you'll see appear are actually try outs and tests for stuff we're building into the new design. Some features, sections etc will already be implemented partly in the current design because we've completed the works on the backend for it, and it will be easally portable in the end.
