We'll be working on the servers again this weekend.

Because of this the servers will be unreachable for several hours, including the webserver for several minutes.

Maintanance planned;

- Re-install MrBlonde to Linux (cod5 beta is over, official game should be launched with Linux support)
- Attach rails to both MrBlonde and MrWhite so they can actually be fit propperly in the rack, rather then laying on top of eachother
- Prep MrWhite for maintanance end of the month (Harddisk replacement / RAID 1+0 setup preps)
- Perform a dist upgrade on MrWhite from Debian Etch to Debian Lenny
- Prep new kernels for both MrWhite and MrBlonde

Once MrBlonde is re-installed we'll need to;
- Update Sourcemod to latest build
- Fix map/night cycles on TF2
- Launch 12 more L4D servers ontop of the current 6 active servers
- Launch 3rd TF2 server once more
- Launch 3 more bball2 servers (+afk kicker)

I'll post the final date/time when i am 100% sure on if it will be saturday or sunday. But saturday is a more likely option because we can use all saturday/sunday to continue the maintanance. We'll try to keep the downtime as low as possible. For the webserver etc this will be around 30-60 minutes. For the gameservers this will be several hours.

We'll be going to the datacenter saturday morning.

We just arrived back home, so we'll now continue installing all the servers etc. So far, accept of the rails, the maintanance is going well.

Wow, this was incredibly well synchronized with my "now you're able to play normally because it doesn't lag so fucking horribly" phase

Everything seems to be more or less back running again. The L4D servers on MrBlonde are currently disabled (15-20) because it will need the new kernel first. (I tried a compile last night but i forgot a option so the kernel wouldn't boot). I'll try to compile and test the new kernel in the morning when no one is playing.

servers on MrBlonde are down for a while, currently attempting to build a sane kernel.
