Wait a minute - I just checked and you have "Blogger" privileges, Mint, so you should be able to post blog entries on the portal... You don't even need to contact Spike...

McMoist doesn't seem to be registered on the front page, so naturally he doesn't have blog permissions...

Or wait - weren't the portal logins synced with forum accounts recently? Then you'd have to contact Saint, Bucky or one of the tech team.

P.S. It's funny - Drupal apparently doesn't allow special characters in user names and they, in turn, were imported from the forums. Now you can't add a user with a [SpA] tag to e.g. the bloggers group.

that is correct I am a member of the usergroup, but still it I am not able to post a new entry, only view my recent one which I typed ages ago when it first came out. I've tried to remove myself and add me again to see if it works but without luck, so I'm thinking there must be something else than the usegroup controlling this
