Yeah as vogy said, its still an expirimental command, so it will only be recommended to be enabled on multicore systems once it becomes more functional (less crashes etc...). Try it out and if you receive a lot of crashes/errors just switch back :3

If I'd run TF2 on all settings on recommended I'd have around 20fps :|

I guess "recommended" is more like "default"

Is there something wrong with 20 fps? :P
That's my average all the time. :ugly:
On frontier it the average is 10 fps...now that is really noticeable. :|

Yea theres no that big difference between high and low details, best change was to install d3doverrided which gave me 20-40 fps

Well if its things such as texture details then no, there isn't, especially on most new graphics cards since they will normally have 512mb vram or more.

Yes there is something wrong with 20fps. I want to be able to shoot my enemies based on skill

I'm a Scout after all!!!!

Scout performance works like that: performance=skill x fps^2 x luck, but I agree about frontier, its just something wrong with it, you get 20-30 more fps on open areas at goldrush or badwater. Maybe chew-chew eats fps's while you ride it dunno

I get sick pretty quickly if the FPS regularly drop below 25.
