Who here plays BF2?

And if you do, feel like invading a server one night, together on mumble, join one team, form differant squads, and kick some ass?

I'll write a small guide before we start on how to get it working propperly. In some cases you require to do some actions by hand such as updating PB

Could be fun. Though I'm in the same seat as Moose so I'd have to restart from scratch (or just use my bro's account  ).

I'm up for it if I can get it working. Don't really care what game tbh, it's usually a great laugh when we have a group of us trying to do anything :4

Nice idea, I tried to play some bf2 last autumn but it was unbelievable frustrating, since everybody play for stats only :| Damn you Dice, make proper battlefield 3 instead of some half products like 1943 or heroes

Hey, get off BF: Heroes - it's OK. :-P
I'm just disappointed to see that ALL the items are time-limited. A very annoying (if clever) strategy by EA...

No, no - re-fix that... I counted a total of 8 (sic!) items that aren't time-limited out of... uhm... a shitload and these are only clothing items anyway... From what I gather they're available exclusively to beta-testers and that the only reason they designed them that way.

But the parrot is too awesome o: True it can only be bought with real money, but it has no limit on it.. so no need to re-fix anything o:

cheap yeah. You could go for EA store, but if you'd be in the neighbourhood of a game store, you can buy it there for 15 euros i think. At bol.com it's 15 euros as well.

I might just take my copy out from under the dust for this. Will have to re-patch and make yet another EA account (lost count of how many I've made, damn EA) but it'll be more than worth the effort. :16

Just played a few rounds on Operation Blue Pearl as both Chinese and Americans. As the Yankees, you really need to work as a team and attack in a large wave to be able to land on the shore and take the flags. I had a round, as the Chinese, were all of us just stood near the beachhead and blew up any boats or APC's that tried to attack us. 21 kills and only 1 death (from an artillery shell) for me - second best in my team and overall.

And yay for widescreen support; BF2 has never looked so good at 1680x1050.
