As many of you are aware of the community here is sadly not free to maintaine,
Many of you might not know it, but the fixed costs alone each month is around 150 € this includes stuff like, server room rental, bandwith costs, domain registration, and it goes on. And since Special Attack owns our own hardware this is a sidecost which can be quite expensive at times (most gamers should recognise this one )
Our great goal is to have aproximitly 225€ p/m so we can save up for hardware or have some euroes in case of unexpected things, (like saint physically breaks the server, yes it does happen )


with this in the thoughts I would remind people that donations are always heartily welcome, even if it's just 5€ everything helps out, and on top of saving Special Attack's ass you'll get rich on SpA points, just remember to write a donations topic so saint doesn't forget

I'll probably be able to donate 5-10 euro next week, but I need a an account. Also a "loading bar" where we can see the ammount of cash needed every month and the money going in would be sweet. It's like a reminder, without the "plz gief money"-rant.

Only reason I'm yet to donate is, well, because I'm a dirt poor student. I'm going to get a job in the summer though and then I'll surely be able to spare a couple of bucks a month. Until then, I'm <censored>.

Aye mate, we're forced to by google rules. As we'd like to keep our google ads account we do everything that their rules tell us to do, that includes removing (editing) people's posts when it comes down talking about ads. (the reason for this is the clickfraud lawsuite a while back)

Btw, i'm expecting our new hardware firewall to arrive today! (Made possible by the recent donations!)

Next target for the donations is the montly bandwidth costs (we're going to have to upgrade the contract again, 2 months ago we went from 1TB to 2TB, but due to recent increase of the server useage we're going to have to upgrade to 3TB). 'leftover' money will be saved up to buy new server hardware.
