In the past, both Bucky and Pim have expressed interest in doing some outdoor, mountain climbing like things in Scotland.
Admittedly Bucky's sounded more like people trying to survive in a Post Apocalyptic Wasteland rather than just enjoying a Recreational Activity. But I take it as an interest nonetheless. And Pim told me when we were standing at a Bar in a Club...
Regardless, here's some pictures of what THAT would be like, in Scotland.

We went a different way back down, and this is where it started. I was rocking some less than average Parkour skillz on these rocks, and it occurred to me after I was finished that if I'd tripped, I would have probably smashed my skull like a cantaloupe melon. And by the time a chopper reached me I would probably have been brown bread. Ah well, Carpe Diem and all that shite.

...And here's my legs standing on it. It's not that easy to tell from this picture, but that is a hell of a long way down. When I got out there, I was all like 'WAAaaaAAAaaaa!!! '
Seriously though. If I had fell I would have totally died.
And after all that, it was back on to the mighty vessel, the 'S.S. Titty Wank' to take us back to the mainland.
Outside, high altitude and excercise all things that happen to other people and more importantly ones with working lungs... but damn it looks nicely scary out there.

You don't have to sleep outside though. I went over there all in one day. It's an hour on the boat from where I live.

Anyway, I'm glad you guys like the photos. The island really is quite beautiful, so I thought I'd stick a couple more up for your viewing pleasure.
This is pretty much the first thing you'll see when you get off the boat.
As you can probably tell from the first picture, you have to go through the forest before you're out in the open. Not that, that's a bad thing. Forests are cool.
And then when you're through, the climb begins.
Mountain streams... You can drink from them. And when we got there, some English people were drinking from it. It was quite funny that they were doing that and I was swigging bottled water. What can I say, I'm not exactly attracted to the idea of getting down on my knees and slurping the water with my hands. It's not a fight for survival so why even bother?
Arran eh. sounds like a potential SpA meetup place, if you sods can be bothered to get there. just wait till I'm at uni so I can come down and annoy you
