Meh. We only owned them for 3 minutes. After around 14 minutes they were warmed up to totally rape us :mrgreen:

What are you using to record? Source in built recording? Because your doing something wrong if your getting that. It doesn't matter how bad your computer is, if you lock the framerate to 90, then set it to record 90 tga's per second, it will record that many, you won't get frame lag.

But I warn you that it will take ages to record 90, so only do it if you want to add slowdowns. (Also get ready for ~2.5gb clips)

30 fps are enough to record smooth video which plays good on Youtube. For example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y62_TbDZYfs (spoiler) - I recorded this vid from HL2:EP2 with 30 fps set and there is no frame lag. For videos you don't need more FPS number because difference is hard to notice. Even 25 FPS are enough, this number of FPS is used in many HD materials (however, movies have 24 FPS because it's standard for 35mm reels).
And another positive aspect of recording in 30 FPS is that it takes shorter time to record, compress into AVI and upload on YT :) .

I was using it as an extreme example, as in I could record 180 fps and it still wouldn't lag due to the way source records from demo's. There is actually a point for using 90 fps, if you want to slow down/speed up the video it means you still get a smooth video, recording with 30 fps is fine if you just want to have the video.
