Now, as you all know i've purchase a Saphire Radeon X1950, and it's a beast!

But... the text on my monitor always seems a bit, blurred/smudged. The monitor is only a 15", and it was produced back in 1999, haha!
Anyway, it's running at a resolution of 1024x768.

On the side of the box that the GPU came in, it says :-

'MONITOR

High-Resolution MultiSync or multi-frequency monitors or any other type of VGA monitor

Digital flat-panel (DEP) disaplys or digital CRT display'

Now, upstairs on the other computer, which is quite simple, as it was only bought for my brothers homework, etc. Now, they've got a nice thin 17" monitor, and I plugged it in, and at 1024x768, the text was still a bit, iffy. So, i whacked the resolution up, 4 times more than 1024x768, and the desktop was fucking huge! Haha!
But, the text seemed to thin out, alot and the problem was kind of solved.

So, am I correct in thinking, as it's a beasty bit of kit, it works better at high resolution (desktop), with a nice monitor?

Advice please!
