- Filling a smooth industrial plastic bag with straw and sliding on that down the mountain! Believe me, that works better then any other sled out there, try it before you doubt it! :4

Man , I love snow  and I hate the dirty slush or rain while it's a bit above freezing temperatures. Ah well, we got some pretty nice days the past week. A lot of sun and it's freaking cold
I do hope I won't have to pay an extra 1000 euro on gas costs this year though :?

You know I never tried that - wish I had. Mind you my mum would of had a hippy fit if she saw me trying that lol

:?
I almost wrote that but didn't know if anyone else did it. Only difference was we used to fill the big black bag with some snow - which had the same effect. - more importantly it gave some cushioning!

Yeah we had a coal fire to heat the house... (no central heating in the country) my dad used to deliver coal and so we always had lots of coal bags. Too early in the season for pitchforks ^^

Got about ~7cm of snow here now. I'm happy considering we mostly get slush around here (living near the sea) :)
Still jealous of m3n :<
I think the view of a snow clad forest is hard to beat, that in combination with my lack of interest of warm weather
makes me enjoy winters... Oh, and the cookies contribute as well ;D

and this!

it's forecast for snow up here on Saturday. but only a sprinkling. now, if I know Scottish forecasts, that means there will be no snow at all (likely) or it'll all come in one huge clusterfuck that nobody saw coming. I'm hoping for the latter :3

On a more serious note, there is about 10 cm of snow outside right now. Weather forecast for tomorrow says "blizzard" :D
