As you might have noticed last few days, sometimes MrBlonde completely crashes.

We have located the issue and the L4D2 servers running on Blonde are causing it. Sometimes one of the 22 L4D2 servers in a fork goes mental, and slowely starts consuming all server resources with as result all other processes will stall.

When this occures we need to hard reset the machine as cant login anymore either.

We have contacted VALVe on this issue and their currently working together with us on locating the exact cause of the bug.

In the meantime if you notice most gameservers being down or going down contact me asap so i can get it back up.

Is this also causing TF2 server lag? Also most of the players blamed me for the lag (I'm looking at you, Mr. Frosty!) I wasn't alone with lag issues yesterday. My ping was fine at the time, but I had small freezes and stuttering.

The TF2 servers prolly start lagging like little bitches onces the problem starts occuring. If you notice this login to blonde and check 'top' for its load.

I suffered yesterday on server 1 and if it helps, I'm willing to jump on the 'blame Blackhawk' bandwagon
