heheheh, He's looking for a new college at this work. Allthou i doubt he'll have much luck. The total amount of dutchies around here is quite low.

you mean the toal amount of dutchies without a job living near rotterdam and having knowledge about IT

De Rotterdam Internet Exchange (www.r-ix.nl) is een jonge, dynamische organisatie die zich inzet om Internet gerelateerde activiteiten in Rotterdam en omgeving te bevorderen. De R-iX werkt nauw samen met het Ontwikkelingsbedrijf van de Gemeente Rotterdam (OBR). Op dit moment zijn er drie personen, die zich vanuit verschillende locaties bezig houden met de commerciële, organisatorische en technische opzet van de organisatie.

Omschrijving
De R-iX heeft momenteel een uitdagende vacature voor een enthousiaste Datacenter Technicus (MBO-niveau). De Datacenter Technicus is samen met een collega verantwoordelijk voor het beheer van de technische installaties van het datacenter. Dit omvat preventief onderhoud, het opsporen en verhelpen van storingen, het aansturen van leveranciers en aannemers, energiebeheer en administratieve werkzaamheden. Hij/zij wordt tevens ingezet bij werkzaamheden op de datazaal, zoals patching en het gereed maken van computerracks. De Datacenter Technicus rapporteert aan de directie van de Stichting. Daarnaast werkt hij/zij nauw samen met medewerkers van het Ontwikkelingsbedrijf van de Gemeente Rotterdam.


Functie-eisen
Voor deze taken is ervaring met projectmanagement vereist met:

Opleiding op MBO niveau bij voorkeur elektrotechniek
Enkele jaren relevante werkervaring in een datacenteromgeving
Uitstekende teamspeler
Goede communicatieve vaardigheden
Bereidheid om mee te draaien in 24*7 storingsdienst
In bezit van rijbewijs B en eigen auto


Ingangsdatum is zo snel mogelijk. Salaris is in lijn met de zwaarte van de functie.
