Noitu Love2: Devolution ![]() I've got one right! wooot! ![]() I read about it in a games magazine last month. Never played it though. Someone else can post a game because I mostly know the mainstream ones. |

Funny, so did I. A swedish magazine called SuperPlay.

Yup, Mr Orange - gratz. :-D As a little reward for you and to make good use of the Yutube tags Pim implemented recently I'm posting a little (hopefully) funny video of me playing Noitu Love 2 I recorded a while ago. (I edited the link so that it loads in the highest quality - beware, users with slow connections.) It really is an AWESOME game. It was nominated as a finalist in last year's Indie Games Festival and Joakim "konjak" Sandberg (a Swedish guy) made EVERYTHING himself - the sprites, the coding, the music... Well - he had some experience in the game industry before - he was working e.g. on Contra 4 for the NintendoDS. By all means buy it or download the demo - you won't be disappointed (no, I don't get anything for linking to konjak's site): http://www.konjak.org/ Quote: Someone else can post a game because I mostly know the mainstream ones.
Go on then - there's no shame in that. Just choose the oldest and least known mainstream title you have played and post an ambiguous screenshot to make the whole thing even harder. ;-)Quote: Funny, so did I. A swedish magazine called SuperPlay.
That's why I posted a non-mainstream game that is actually quite famous. I could post some other obscure titles which I'm sure have never been mentioned anywhere except for some post in a little-known forum. =)P.S. Additional points for spotting the John Romero references in my video. ^^ |

Oh, don't remind me of that. ;-)I can beat all the levels with like one or two hits but not getting hit at all is kinda hard because some attacks, enemies and/or projectiles are too random to avoid every time... Actually I have another no-hit walkthrough for the second level but I'm so lazy that I haven't gotten myself to record an audio commentary yet... |

I just thought it was funny that we both read about the game in a magazine last month, I'm not criticizing your choice P.S. Additional points for spotting the John Romero references in my video. ^^ ![]() John Romero reference at 2:05 "I'll make you my bitches" ![]() |

Yep - "Suck it down!", too. There's another less famous quote (actually the Ion Storm motto) when I'm fighting the mini-boss and referring to "design is law". Romero brought it up quite often in the context of Daikatana and we all know what the project ended up being like. ^^ |

No. :-P It's Age of Chivalry - you're actually playing it, Mr Orange? I keep a close eye on the HL2 MOD community since I discovered many, many awesome HL1 MODs at times when I got bored with CS but I found this one to be pretty awful (at least at this stage of development). The only MODs I found to be worthwhile so far are Insurgency (good, but don't like it ;-), Dystopia (unbelievably polished for an amateur MOD - highly recommended), Eternal Silence (playable but needs some work), Iron Grip: The Oppression (a very ambitious and polished project but nobody seems to play it 0_o) and Pirates, Vikings & Knights II (developed slowly but steadily)... The HL2 MOD community isn't as lively as the HL1 MOD community used to be. I believe it's connected to the greater skill requirement for doing anything sensible in the SourceEngine... |

I can answer for Baal: yes it is. ^^ I liked that game quite a lot as well. The mouse controls were awesome considering it was a space sim... The side-missions were kinda repetitive though. :-\ Your turn, Noxius. |

Do you mean patch 1.11? Because I found it quite entertaining. They fixed a lot of things that bugged me before like you couldn't block arrows with your shield and holding the shield up just ate away your stamina. I don't play it anymore because after playing sporadically for two weeks, it got repetitive.
