Mach4 on spa servers is total failure - 3 engineers 3 snipers and a spy on each side and game is fucking unplayable :E And hell yeah for egypt, played it recently and i love it - first stage is a bit harsh to win, but maybe some spawn tweaking will be done.

cp_egypt as official map! I prayed for this :twisted: . But, it will be just like Turbine and Steel - people will hate it no matter how map is good :/ .

Because that's not a map for 26 players. 6v6 is even a bit too much on this map.

Its a decent map for 26 players, but if you get out of main buidling you see 3 snipers so you will probably be dead, if you manage to survive you will definitely encounter sentry farm :/

Scout is least played because you are so fleshy, you die so easily, and it's so dependent on people missing you. Not just your skill.

I enjoy scouting A LOT, hit and run, in do major damage and get out, my K/D Ratio is never massive though, and due to the way Scouts get points, i'm hardly ever riding high in the tables. kill people or cap points. (other classes like soldier, get to pwn ass so they get a lot more points)

People want glory, not death :(

Hoping the new scattergun makes it more effective to kill people, or new ways to earn points, I don't want to push people away or blast jump.

I want to kiiiillllllll....

Although massive jumping will be useful, i can already see myself not using the new baseball bat, would rather blast jump and use my double jump to good effect.

As Sebas says, can't wait to try it and see how it all plays out :D

Another hint in the scout achievements: you need to kill enemies by pushing them off somewhere, that means that in the future you will get at least an assist when somebody drops down somewhere and you have damaged him. This should have been in the game from the start tbh :D

Seeing cp_egypt I immediatly thought of Lim complaining about the buggy mapped... and it was removed on the custom weekend, before I could test it... but I'm pretty sure that Valve did some testing on it. I don't think they would pack a technically broken map into an offical update.

I'm happy that they worked on fastlane. Imho it's a nice map, but I totally suck on it. Have my worst K:D ratio on it. With some tweaking it really could become a decent map.

@Scout: As I'm not fixed on any particular class I also like playing scout. Running around like a maniac on dope is quite some fun... although I'm a sucky scout it's fun. I even managed once to dominate another player as scout. I simply had to laugh as the scout started to laugh manically about the domination.

Now it's time to clean up Natasha... lots of Scouts have to be killed! :mrgreen:

Last night I stayed alive for 18 minutes as engi and got something like 20 kills and was 2nd on scoreboard (1st was a sniper). All this while spamming the text chat continually while the other engi's repaired my stuff :mrgreen: I have a pretty decent place for my sentry if I have a half competent team ;)

Someone was on gamefaqs Q_Qing about the achievement "quick hook", kill someone before the round starts on cp_well.

Interesting, it clears up the "should i shoot through the cars" thing. I had a test and it's pretty hard nay impossible ti double jump into enemy side, but with the Force-a-Nature it'll be easy.

I can't do it easily but there are many people who've practiced it enough. Don't really know why since it's a sure way to get yourself killed but..myeah.

Even easier achievement with the force-a-nature :p

Egypt sux. Only the theme is nice looking. The gameplay isn't good at all. Let's hope valve tuned it a bit (i doubt it though).

Scatter-jumps ? :roll:
