It's true that I'm not especially fond of cake...

...I liked that carrot cake you made at Christmas though, so I'd wager that I'd enjoy this Smarties cake too.

WE ARE ABOUT TO CHANGE THE GAME, AGAIN!
What do you know about PULLING YOUR PORK HATER!
I hope you like MORE blurry photos!

Image

Ingredients:

For The Pulled Pork

* big fuck off Pork Shoulder
* 3 Onions
* 6 Cloves of Garlic
* 250ml of Cider (i dont give a fuck what type)
* 200ml of White wine vinegar
* Bacon Strips

For the Rub!

* tsp Cumin Powder
* tsp Chilli Flakes
* tsp Mustard Seeds
* tsp Chilli powder
* tsp Sugar
* tsp Kanye West Pepper
* Salt and Pepper

For The Guac!

* 2x Ripe Avocardo
* 1x Banana Shallot
* 2x Tomato
* Bunch of corriander
* Pinch of Chilli powder
* 1x Lime Juice
* Sea Salt and Pepper to taste

For The Flour Tortillas

* I will normally make these fresh (and once you have had fresh you will crave them every day of your life) but I found a brand that is actually good quality and doesn't taste like poster paint. Plus I was feeling fucking lazy. Deal with it!

For The quesadilla filling!

* 100g Cheese - i dont really care what you use
* a few cuts of red pepper
* Coriander

Oven Preheat 170ºC

Wake Up!

Step 1.

Step up! Grab that big hunk of meat and run a sharp knife in a criss cross along the top and bottom; but don't be dumb and cut it into chunks!
Then get all your dry rubs together and you go ahead and rub that meat! Rub it REAL good!

Image

Yeah, I'm rubbing it!
ImageImage

Step 2.

Get your 3 onions and 6 garlic clothes and cut them UP!

ImageImage

Step 3.

Stick your meat in a big ass pot with some nice x.v olive oil!! Or if you haven't got a big ass pot, use a deep baking tray, some parchment and some metal foil.

Image

Step 4.

Pour in your white wine vinegar and cider!

ImageImage

Now you are thinking, "what the fuck am I supposed to do with all this left over cider..."

Don't waste a drop.
ImageImageImageImageImage

Image

Step 5.

Moving on. Drop your chopped up onions and garlic in the pot. Season well and then chuck it in the oven for 2hours. Check it every hour to see how its doing.

Image

Step 6.

Now we got some time to kill, lets make our Guac! and prep our quesadilla!

Get your avocados, tomatoes, shallot, lime juice and other shit and cut them up. Stick them in a blender.

Image
Image
Image

There you gots GUAC!

Season that with salt and pepper and chilli powder to taste!

Add some green decorative bullshit to the top!

Image

Chuck it in the fridge to chill out.

Step 7.

Grab 2 flour tortillas and grease them up with some x.v. olive oil on their outer sides. Lay one on a tray and cover in cheese! Cut up some red pepper and chuck that on as shown below for crunch, don't put them on pointing into the middle because it will just fuck up when you cut this baby up! (At this stage you can add whatever you want really).

Image

Step 8.

Okay, two hours have passed and you have just dominated 5 people on goldrush. Let's check the pork!

Image

nice! it should be hot and moist! and most of the liquid should have evaporated etc! Give it a taste!

now its time to fork your meat! and what do we fork with, a fucking Fork!
I used, a metal fork, but, well it looked shit in the photo! 8)

Image

Pull that meat apart!

Image

Step 9.

Jump back to you quesadilla, throw in a few of those bits of onion and garlic on it.

Image

Now scatter your pulled pork all over it (if there is any left, because you will honestly be eating the pork by hand the minute you taste it)

Image

Put on another bit of cheese, and then stick the other tortilla on top! Chuck this into the oven for 10mins - though make sure it doesn't burn, you just want to melt the cheese and bake the tortilla a bit.

Step 10.

Done player!

Image

Cut that shit into 6 segments and open a bottle of your favourite crisp beer! I've gone for germany's 3rd best ;) (starts heated internet debate). Serve with your Fresh Guac!

Holy hell that is awesome!

The way the guacamole changed from a random salad to a nice green substance looks like magic! :-P Makes me very insecure about my non-existing cooking skills.

Hmm, yea, I'd definitely pay actual money to get a piece. :D

And also, Balls has blue eyes! :ugly: (lol this didn't sound gay at all. Not sure what I expected really, guess I thought he'd look more scary in real life haha.)

Organic Black Fox Cider; it was the cheapest but didn't look like paint thinner.

I thought it was, I love that stuff. I need to find a place that sells it. Its one of the few ciders which get me drunk on only one or two bottles. :5:

I live near to where Westons is produced, they do a cider called Stowford Press which is the most lovely cider you will ever taste. Henry Westons Vintage is the best thing for pre-drinks though, 8% pint for £1.60 in London is ridiculous!

Oh yea, Stowford is amazing! For some time that was the only alcoholic drink I had. But for some reason they decided not to import this anymore, probably too expensive, after that the local breweries started producing similar ciders which are pretty good. :)
