You wait for the patch adding this command to the console, then use the command in the console for joining a server by ip.

anyone know where i can pick this up particularly cheap? was thinking about downloading it from steam, but if it needs patching then i don't mind waiting for the delivery, so i might as well save some quid in the process.

thanks for the offer, but i ended up just buying it off of steam. i figured that, at my sort of download speed (100-200 kbps whoo) i'd be better off just getting it downloaded asap, which would probably still be long enough for a patch to get put out :4

Just had the smoothest hardcore tdm game, no lag what so ever and got the graphics to a really nice level, it was late and the server had 5 people on it, and i was on a team by myself...

PC community. We are listening and have been working on updates. We have deployed a couple already below, more to come. Stay tuned here.

- GameServers.com has bumped sv_maxrate to 25000 across all servers to reduce lag
- GameServers.com continues to improve official server distribution in various worldwide regions

The performance optimization in this game has got to be the worst I have ever seen. In fact, scratch optimization: how many memory leaks does it have?

I'm running on Quad Core Q6600, GTX460, 4GB of RAM and I have to play with all details on minimum and the process set as High to get a decent performance. But it still stutters ffs.

Fixed it a lot for me, now getting 40+ fps, stole my first care package with chopper gunner on nuketown=6 levels up :ugly:

Its working almost well, altough our server is lagging so much its unplayable. Too bad there isnt a lobby/party system, so we ended playing against each other most of the time :/

I can play just fine too, although the SpA server lags so bad its unplayable.

And you still cant find friends in the game :( You can't right click a person and select "join game", and the friends doesn't show up in the "friends" tab of the server browser :(

A small fast patch seems to have fixed all the performance issues. I bet somebody forgot a break in the source code. :mrgreen:

Otherwise, yeh, being able to join a friend's game or set-up a friends party to play with would be really great.

Only way to join friends game is to send invites, altough you will usually end split up between teams.
