im so middle class, i've got good enough doing all my hat trading for me, because he is a cockney geezer ^^ i don't dare haggle myself ^^

plus, i watched michael mcintyre's stand up the other night with my dad,.. and it was shameful how many of his observations reflected me :<

We are training to play the "Legend of Zelda" Theme, but our bagpiper still hasn`t succeeded in playing
the fast notes quick and nice enough, so far we only managed a recorder-version which sounds.... awful :)

meanwhile the second upload of our band "Not Und Elend" (miserably translated to "destitution and misery")

I didn't express any kind of opposition to it or anything. All I'm saying is, nobody is going to read that as 'Double Niger'.

Popular culture pretty much guarantee's that. Maybe if you go find a Geography teachers forum, they'll all 'interpret' it as 'Double Niger'.

Why would you call yourself Double Niger anyway? Again, I'm asking purely out of curiosity.

I've been using it for years, and I sort of forgot it's origin...
All I really remember is it having something to do with Niger's poverty,
which doesn't really make for a good story anyway.

As for music, most of the recordings we have are either old or just bad,
but I'll share some anyways;

That's the only song off of the live recording that's really worth listening to,
but the other record "Day Two" is alright I guess.

I usually tell people to listen to it when they're going to sleep or reading, but yoga would be pretty suitable too :)

I just realized we actually have a more recent recording of us though, it just has a video attached to it.

It's not very yoga-friendly though.

Reminds me of post-rock. I only wish that the recording quality was a bit better so I could hear every individual instrument, but it sounds pretty cool.
I like to play this kind of music every once in a while as well. Playing around with transitions and mood switches in music is very fun! :)

I'm not sure what kind of camera was used, but I think it was a canon T2i :?

Most of the time we call it post-rock, but it just depends on what we're doing at the time, we switch instruments around and do other silly stuff like that,
so it gets weird when you try to describe it to people, and you're right, it is very fun.

Also as for the quality, we recorded the video impromptu while practicing for a show (in a couple hours) in a friends bedroom,
so the execution was a little rushed. I think we used one mic, hahah :lol:
