or zerg, spam hidralisks, or terran, spam reapers + marauders. :ugly:

This game is to limited to 2-3 units which are highly spammed in multiplayer + 1 unit to harras. Bullshit. Not to mention zerglings rush. :ugly:

Challenge accepted!

The zergling rush was ok, but Migu saved my ass with his marines. And when you attacked with roaches, my two void rays destroyed them easily ;)

Weird how I, as a Gold League player, always get matched up with Platinum and Diamond League players in ladder games. :o
It is pretty fun though! 8)

I highly advise you to never play in a random team.

1. Most SC2 players are rude. At the beginning of each game I greet the opponent with a "gl hf", which is think is polite. It's like in football, when the team captains and the referees shake each others' hands. It shows that your parents taught you good manners and that you like fair play However, most of the time the opponent won't answer.

2. Most SC2 players play for themselves. I usually play protoss, which means that I rely on my teammates, if the enemy is trying a zergling rush. But do you think anyone cares? No, they just keep their zealots/space marines/zerglings/whatever in their base while mine gets destroyed.

3. Most SC2 players don't tech. Massing space marines or zerglings might come in handy at an early stage of the game, but if the player has cruisers, ultralisks or siege tanks your pretty space marines will get their arse kicked.

Do you by any chance play in Copper or Bronze?

If so, don't.

I found out that 2v2 fits me better than 1v1 and so far my 2v2 games have been very enjoyable (albeit not that many so far)
But yeah, just team up with friends and have a good time in mumble instead of teaming up with a random person. I wouldn't have it any other way ;D

I'm a tech-er though, so pretty slow on everything xD

At first I wasn't interested in this game at all, as I absolutely blow at RTS games.
Now, after watching some commentaries of some 'pro' matches on YouTube, I find myself quite interested in it.
In fact, I'm gonna hop into town right now to get myself a copy. :D

Yeah, those guys are awesome. I love people who can speak about something enthusiastically :D
The game is patching atm so I'll be chacking out the singleplayer in a few minutes.
I've never actually completed a complete RTS singleplayer game so it's possible I'll jump into the multiplayer before I finish the campaign :p

I just achieved gold score in every scenario. The one where you need to recruit 30 marines, 8 tanks and 8 ghosts within 14 minutes was so effing hard, I had try about six times until I got that one.
The other ones are ridiculously easy.

Gave up trying to get gold on those ones, for most of them I got silver thats good enough for me. I'm currently running through the Campaigns hard achievements, some of which are piss easy but quite a few have had me attempting over and over again. Ah well only the Rebellion, Prophecy and the Final missions to go.

The hardest achievment I got was All In on hard with only one use of the artefact. Made me get the raid night achievement first so I could buy/research everything specifically for the last mission. :?

I'll just finish the singleplayer to see some more awesome cutscenes and to see the rest of the story.
Afterwards I won't bother with achievements and just get my arse handed to me in multiplayer.

So far the multiplayer doesn't grab me like the single player. I've played a number of co-op games and its just the same:

- Survive an initial cpu rush --- or die
- Race to build a load of thors or battlecruiser then storm the other bases.

No strategy, variety or that much fun. So think I will give the whole on-line experience a miss and leave it to the koreans. Will definitelty get the expansions when they finally arrive because the single player it loads of fun.

I think that playing against the AI is of course not that much fun.
You should play against real players, that's where the strategy and variety is at! ;)
And teaming up with your friends is awesome too! :D

Am I wrong to think that multiplayer does not involve cpu but actual players =3

But then, if you dislike a normal cpu rush.. then you're not gonna like the tactics good players will throw at you early game o:

The co-op games I've played have always been against the CPU players.
