Sandvich (Spelled like that from Valve.... Intentionally, I do believe) will replenish 120 of the Heavy's health. However, the heavy is very vulnerable when eating, since it takes four seconds, of loud vigorous (and happy) eating. The Sandvich is in unlimited supply, but the heavy must sacrifice the shotgun to carry all them Sandviches!

By the way - Arena Mode seems to be waking the cooperative side in all players. I mean - I played on a FULL arena server for several maps yesterday and people REALLY cared about what class to choose. Usually there wasn't more than ONE Heavy on the team - and that after the update! People switched to medic if there was none, chose another class for Heavy if there were like two on the team. It's amazing what the threat of having to sit out ONE <2 minute round can do to people. ;-)

I got the Sandvich last night using my own achievements server. Can't be arsed to annoy everyone else playing a legit game by grinding out achievements.

Two more achievements to go until I get the next Milestone

Achievement server suck if they use modified game parameters... I helped several people get their achievements on my local server and a legit achievementbox map which simply has a convenient design...

I for my part unlocked everything with my trusty program, of course. ^^

Its so true, was on it for about 2 hours yesterday and I had the same bastard headache Yes, I did enjoy sniping all those dumb-arsed heavys down but overall the gameplay/teamplay is the worse yet from an update, you are just constantly gunned down by their guns and like I was discusing with Crovax, your kill count goes down as the random fire from heavys just takes the kill away from soldiers etc, but my main problem is that to win you need a good balanced team which involves a medic (which I love to play and play lots). Yesterday a team of 5-6 heavys just had no clue how to work them, got me killed all the time, I quit to be an engi (because now they seen to be redundant because apparently 6 heavys blasting away can compensate for a few level 3 sentries...bollocks) and we just had the team asking for medics all the time to which I refused.

Basically so glad limit is now set to 4...wish it was 3 Nom Nom fucking Nom, rant over

Yeah... quite a big bullet density in the air which mows done poor pyros.

I played a round on cp_steel yesterday as a medic. It was some real fun as there were some good heavies (at least names I read before), demo-moPP and Mr. 87 as sniper around.

One real funny anecdote from pl_badwater before: nameless and me were running around as medics. Stupid heavies just stood at dispensers and put bullets into the air. So only 2 demos could be healed near the cart. Once I had mah uber ready noone was around, so I ubered nameless who took out his saw. He killed three(?) heavies, got his 22nd achievement for this which gave him his ubersaw and I got my "heal-someone-getting-an-achievement"-achievement... and we both survived the situation... pure fun.

Only the three stupid CTD made the fun not that great... :/

I've noticed that there has been a reasonable increase in Medics since the Heavy update.

The only problem is, 99% of them are glued to Heavies and refuse to heal other classes!

Oh yeah... I was literally dancing right in front of some medic screaming for help and burning to death... He just stared at me with a blank face while his n00b Heavy mate crawled along the map never spinning down because that's the way n00bs play this class...

Needless to say I died. ^^
