Key presser: Razer Lycosa mirror edition keyboard Screen: Dell 2209wa monitor Sound card: Asus Xonar D2X sound card. Rigged up to Rega - Mira 3 amp and some kind of Rega speakers - only in 2.1. For surround I use Sennheiser HD650's. None of it helps me play better, or make me more sexually attractive to women

I just updated my rig. I wanted to buy a new motherboard cause my old one could only take one graphics card. Now I've got 3 GeForce GTX 280 in Tri-SLi. I actually bought 4 of them cause I thought you could go Quad SLi, but apparently it's Quad Core, not SLi.  I'll give one of em' to Mari, she's having graphical problems. The cooling system is an absolute whore though. The electricity bill is going to be through the roof. |

You can't get more FPS displayed than your monitor refresh-rate. So if your display is running on 75Mhz, you'll never get more than 75FPS, no matter how many the video-card can produce.

Umm, not really. As in, in gaming it depends on other factors such as motion blur, granularity of animation and so on.
