Dammit. I know that game, I played the demo once.

You build a community up inside a space station don't you? God damn!

Yup, precisely. =)
Welcome to the world of "I know that game but don't remember its title". ;-)
I just tried searching for the game on Google as I would without knowing its name and hell, I didn't think it was that difficult to find... Modern video games seem to be fading into oblivion quite quickly even if they receive good reviews - much more so than some obscure retro-arcade crap... 0_o

Yo. I attribute its lack of popularity nowadays to Mucky Foot Studios being defunct... Man, this game has aggregated scores of around 86% and sold over 100.000 copies after the initial release (not much by today's console-hit standards but surely not bad either).

By the way - Bullfrog (now defunct as well, the company that Mucky Foot Studios spawned from) had bad luck... They made brilliant games and all of them were abandoned or discontinued... Take the Dungeon Keeper series... In comparison Overlord can go fuck itself when it comes to gameplay depth, atmosphere, humor etc. yet DK3 has been canceled/put on hold indefinitely...

Yeah man I was a fan of Bullfrog. Theme Park. Theme Hospital. Magic Carpet. Dungeon Keeper.

Those games were superb and yet still they went under. T'is a damn shame.

Not to mention the extremely famous Populous or Syndicate series (especially the former)... I mean - these guys have never ever made a truly bad game, have they? Why the hell did they have to end up being bought by EA and after the retirement of the Bullfrog brand be forced to work on some cookie-cutter bullshit which is what EA is mostly known for?

I thought Syndicate Wars was Bullfrog but I wasn't exactly sure. I've never actually played them. I did play Populous 3 and have to say it was a pretty cool game. Playing over a LAN it was always a laugh to send Priests or Shaman or whatever they were in to capture my pals troops and what not. He was shit, he was more into Ridge Racer and FIFA. Not that I wasn't as well but you can't beat some good old fashioned RTS action.

Yeah... Bullfrog's "death" is a pity. One of the real great game studios which just vanished. I love their games and a Bullfrog logo was always a label of quality.

@New game:
Hmm... I cannot differ all these RPGs altough I've played a couple of them. ;)

Why, why do people have to post some strange JRPG-s all the time. *cry*

It's bad enough that I don't like cRPG-s save for some exceptions but JRPG-s are a sub-genre in which i HATE every title until proven wrong. ;-)

Post subject:  Re: Guessing games: The game edition

Oh snap ^^ I usually don't play that kind of games on forums. And yes, I did read the first post. It was some time ago. Snap.
K, I'll return to that later, maybe I'll guess some game. :) Not a chance with Doomshine's.

On the other hand let's face it: now only Lim-Dul can post games as he clearly spent all his childhood in front of a PC guessing all the games :) As he said: post jrpg as he hate them.

Pfff - I'll own your screenshot even if it's outside the competition: it's System Shock, of course. :-P

See, that doesn't count, don't ruin the game :) Guess the Doomshine's :)

Haha, puny humans, time to break out the hints! I won't name the publisher and developer like before, that would be too easy :)

1)Yes, it's JRPG, but it's also a Strategy-JRPG.
2) It's a sequel.

Vandal Hearts II - man, never heard of that one. You're really feeding us crap. :-P
I only "guessed it" because after you mentioned Konami it took me a whole of 5 seconds to find it. -.-
